For hundred of thousand barrels with powder!
In the Polish language there are many words, phrases and idioms which are broadly used to express our emotional states, show our anger or frustration. As you can see in the video, the most important features of these words are good spelling. Nearly each social group has got specialized curses, made by using characteristic words (especially sailors, for example “for hundred of thousand barrels with powder!'). The meaning of curses is not as important, as their sound.
A curse has to be a short word, or a whole phrase, which uses negative words, such as a 'dog' or names of illness, and sometimes names of religious characters, like Jesus or Maria. Nowadays they are replaced by more vulgar words, and used often by youth. They are so universal that they are now the most important part of many people’s language. It's a backward evolution which can bring us new Polish, which will use only 3-4 words with derivatives, and prepositions.
